" I am the managing partner at KBP. I never really understood what KBP Cares was about until, one day, I hit a tough patch. My house was falling apart, and my landlord didn't want to fix anything. My septic backed into my basement and out my drains, causing black mold to grow. My children and I set a period with no water or heat. The environment affected me at work, and my kids were sick all the time. We could only cook meals or drink water if I went and bought fast food or bottled water. One day, I must have looked overwhelmed because my boss asked me what was wrong, and I just let it all out with tears running down my face. She's who told me to get in contact with KBP Cares. That was the decision that changed our lives. KBP Cares helped me get into our new house. It's even closer to work, which drastically helps when you are a single mom. Since then, my kids have excelled in school, and I am the best (mom and boss). I'm not sure where I would be right now without the help of this program.
